Ghost Acolyte – 2020 Archive

Welcome, friends and fellow photography enthusiasts, to the third yearly archive on the perma-web. This year, we’re not just stepping it up, we’re ramping it up. For the first time, there is video – a review of my own work by none other than Jared Polin a.k.a. Fro Knows Photo. You’ll also notice a new branding addition – the “Ghost Acolyte” logo. The origin of this logo is a story in itself, a design 25 years in the making.

However, this year has not been without its challenges. As the world grappled with the coronavirus pandemic and ensuing lockdowns, my plans, like many of yours, were put on hold. However, the limitations of lockdown led me to explore the intricate world of macro photography and experiment with vintage lenses for the first time.

Before the world came to a standstill, I was fortunate enough to make a second trip to Portugal. A photographer’s dream, Portugal’s stunning landscapes, vibrant culture, and captivating architecture provided endless inspiration. Lisbon felt like a second home, and I eagerly anticipate the day I can return.

So, without further ado, I invite you to explore the galleries. Here’s to another year of growth, exploration, and photography.
